Welcome to Udaipur – the city of lakes, a picturesque canvas of colorful landscapes surrounded by the enchanting Aravalis. The aura is such; it makes you weak in your knees when you first see her. Whether you are visiting it for the first time or the 100th time, you are bound to love it. The capital city of the state of Mewar, was founded by Maharana Udai Singh II of the Sisodia dynasty in the year 1533. The Maharana shifted his capital from Chittorgarh to this fertile and secure land in the valley enclosed by the Aravalis.

The city situated in southern part of Rajasthan is christened as the “Venice of the east”, and dubbed as the most romantic spot in the country of India. Be its majestic palaces, the interconnected picturesque lakes, the beautiful lush green gardens or the historic temples…  all are  truly a feast to the eyes. Not to forget the royal floating palace in the Lake Pichola and the Monsoon palace (also known as Sajjan Garh) crowned on the kingdom of the Rajputana glories.

Spread over 37 sq km, and with a population of about 5 lakh, Udaipur offers the right mix of tradition and modernity to its travellers.  A major tourist destination which has lately become the home to the destination weddings and has grown to become an educational hub also.
